"Human Direction" (film, 52:20) 2013
Film "Human Direction" (New civil reality in 16 unimaginable
events) filmed in Tambov in May 2013. It was accepted
participation directly by citizens - non-actors: students, civil activists,
dancers, journalists, street riders. Film
represents an artistic reflection on the changing context of the third
Putin's advent, characterized by the intensification of the protest movement and the subsequent period
reaction that we are still experiencing today.
Definition – “choosing oneself” in historical time, developing
active attitude to current events is the main leitmotif of HD.
The film is assembled from modules-performances, which are intertwined and
invading each other, they bind themselves
topics of social communication, civil liberties, problems of change of power and
difficulties of law enforcement. Through the means of video art, conceptual poetry,
of choreography and performance, the authors create their own figurative language, their own system
visual navigation.
